FinGuard Insights is an editorial publication about financial safety, regulatory warnings, digital assets and payment systems. This page describes the current GitHub Pages deployment. The weekly digest is not connected to an automated mailing-list provider.
Information you choose to provide
The weekly-digest form asks for your name, email address and phone number. Submitting it sends these details to the configured form endpoint when that endpoint is available.
Article pages also offer an educational transaction-and-platform assessment. It asks for your first name, email address, phone number in international format (the country code may be suggested automatically), selected answers about the service, current issue, payment method and timing, plus the consent checkbox. Campaign parameters such as UTM source, campaign, ad set, creative and sub-ID may be included to understand which page or campaign led to the request. Do not enter account credentials, passwords, one-time codes, seed phrases or private keys.
The forms send contact details and, for article assessments, the selected quiz answers to the site form endpoint. Automatic delivery requires a configured backend; the current GitHub Pages host does not execute PHP. A form processor connected later must be identified here together with its retention, security and deletion practices.
Technical information
On pages containing these forms, your browser may request a country suggestion from ipapi.co. This service receives your public IP address and ordinary request metadata. The phone selector uses the suggested country to display its flag and dialling code; you can choose another country manually. If the request fails, the selector defaults to Germany.
Hosting and security systems may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, referral parameters and server logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose errors. The website does not need passwords, one-time codes, seed phrases, private keys or remote-access credentials.
Newsletter and consent
Your digest request is voluntary. The article assessment is also voluntary and is intended to organise basic facts, not to determine legal eligibility or guarantee a result. When a form backend is connected, submitted details are processed by that backend. The site currently has no automated unsubscribe system because no mailing-list provider is connected.
Analytics and advertising
Optional analytics or advertising technologies should only be activated in accordance with applicable consent requirements. Personal data and sensitive financial details should not be placed in advertising-event parameters. External regulator websites and other linked services operate under their own privacy notices.
Sharing and international transfers
The publication should not share subscriber data with third parties unless the recipient, purpose and applicable legal basis are disclosed. Before launch, the operator must document its hosting provider, email provider, processors, retention periods and any international data transfers.
Your rights and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. The responsible legal entity must be identified before public launch. The business contact address supplied by the operator is published below.
